Teaching Associate (CHIA) (Fixed Term)


The Centre for Human-Inspired Artificial Intelligence (CHIA) seeks to appoint a Teaching Associate to assist with the teaching of our new MPhil course in Human-Inspired AI, with the first intake planned for Michaelmas Term 2025. The role holder will contribute to course development, teaching and examining for the MPhil under the leadership of two Assistant Professors. They will work with the Postgraduate Administrator to monitor student attainment, wellbeing and feedback, and undertake other administrative duties commensurate with the grade of the role.

Applications are welcome from PhD-holders who can demonstrate skills and subject matter expertise related to human-inspired artificial intelligence. They will ideally have core technical expertise in machine learning, human-computer interaction, computer vision, speech and/or language processing, robotics, mobile systems or another area of human-inspired AI.

The funds for this post are available for 3 years in the first instance.
