Postdoctoral Research Associate (Fixed Term)

The Cognition and Brain sciences Unit (CBU) is an internationally renowned research institute with state-of-the-art cognitive neuroscience facilities, including 3T-fMRI, EEG, MEG, TMS and access to large cohorts. A short-term, part-time (up to 29.6 hours per week), post-doctoral research position is available as part of the MRC Programme of Prof Rik Henson. The primary aim will be to analyse behavioural and neuroimaging data on the effects of ageing on cognition, in particular memory. This includes analyses on the large database from the CamCAN project (www.cam-can.org), particularly recently acquired longitudinal data. The post-holder will be part of a team of other researchers performing similar analyses. The post is for 10 months in the first instance, to cover temporary secondment of a previous researcher, but has a high likelihood of renewal until end of March 2027.

Candidates should have PhD in cognitive neuroscience or a related field, plus experience in neuroimaging, and strong computational and statistical skills. The starting salary will range from £36,924-£45,163 per annum pro rata, depending upon qualifications and experience.
