Exams Coordinator [Temporary Cover]
Temporary cover: This post is fixed-term for 15 months or the return of the post holder, whichever is the earlier.
The Team
The Exam Operations and Mitigating Circumstances team sit within the Student Administration section of Education Services, supporting the academic purposes of the University, and provides expert administrative support and advice to the University and Colleges relating to operational delivery of exams and reasonable adjustments for undergraduate and taught postgraduate courses. It also manages the administration of exceptional circumstances and allowances for undergraduate and taught postgraduate students.
About the Role
The role is integral in supporting the delivery of a high quality, efficient and coordinated examination and assessment service that adapts to support the University's commitment to diversification of assessment.
Working closely with the Exam Operations Lead, the role holder will support the delivery of digital exam services to all stakeholders including students, colleges and University departments. The role holder will be key in the development and delivery of necessary changes and improvements to exams and assessment as assessment methods continue to diversify.
This role will initially focus on supporting the delivery of online exams via Moodle.

The Exams team is part of the Student Administration Service within Education Services and exceptionally, you may be required to work on other tasks within Education Services if there is a change in priorities.
A hybrid work model is possible at certain times, however, the role requires some days per week in the office (exact days to be negotiated). During peak examination times, the role holder will need to be in the office full-time which also includes some Saturday and Bank Holiday working.
