We at Cambridge University Development and Alumni Relations are looking for a Senior Development Research and Due Diligence Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll work closely with the Development Research and Due Diligence Manager to help shape the direction of our research and due diligence programme. You'll have the opportunity to:
Lead on key projects and improve our research and due diligence processes.
Support and advise senior stakeholders across the University.
Guide and develop the wider team to ensure best practices in fundraising research.
Develop the philanthropic process by identifying promising prospects and ensuring ethical practices in gift acceptance.
Our ideal candidate will have:
Effective organisational, time management, and prioritisation skills, to support delivery of critical projects and deadlines.
A solid background in research and analysis, and experience writing research reports to a high standard.
Consistent focus on detail and precision.
Tact and diplomacy skills, good interpersonal and negotiation skills with an ability to deal with a wide range of stakeholders.
A flexible and constructive approach to work tasks.
An ability to take charge of tasks and initiatives with limited dependency on supervision.
