Successful applicants will contribute to projects involving the analysis of human genetic, transcriptomic and metabolomic/proteomic data. These include the use of statistical approaches to analyse array, exome and genome sequencing data from a cohort of 8,000 children with severe obesity (www.goos.org.uk) and 3,000 people with persistent thinness (www.stilts.org.uk). The postholder will also work with other accessible genomics and transcriptomics datasets including UK Biobank and the Human Cell Atlas.
