HR Communications Manager

The Human Resources (HR) Division supports the University to deliver its goals of excellence in education, learning and research via the recruitment, retention, reward, recognition and development activities of our staff. The Role:

In this role you'll have the opportunity to:
- promote the work of the HR Division to over 12,500 staff - leading how we communicate our strategy, services, and initiatives to staff and institutions across the University;
- lead the planning and delivery of high-quality content, ensuring our communications are clear, timely, and impactful;
- work closely with HR specialist teams to deliver engaging content and campaigns;
- oversee the HR Division's digital presence and ensure consistent, high-quality messaging; and
- be part of a supportive team that values collaboration and professional growth.
About you:
You'll bring:
- Proven experience of advising on and delivering effective communications strategies and campaigns;
- Strong writing and editing skills across a range of formats and platforms utilising insight, feedback and data;
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills; and
- Resilience and the ability to navigate organisational complexity and sensitivities.
Prior HR experience is not essential for this position. However, familiarity with employment-related topics and an awareness of how they influence communication would be beneficial.
